Cancellations and Transfers

There will be no cancellations available for DID 2026 Conference Retreat. If you register and then cannot attend you will forfeit your registration fee, no other accommodations will be allowed. If there are any giveaways etc. at the event that you choose to not attend, you will not receive those items for any reason.

Cancellation Exceptions
The only cancellations that will be considered to receive a full refund are as follows:
Death of an immediate family member *
- Must send a copy of the obituary to Pro Support. This is not negotiable.
Major illness of an immediate family member* that requires hospitalization. A doctor’s note or hospital note on formal letterhead must be sent to Pro Support. This is not negotiable.
Military deployment for spouse or self. Must send a copy of the deployment orders with deployment dates to Pro Support. This is not negotiable.
*Immediate Family Member is defined as a spouse, child or parent of Registrant or Spouse.

How do we receive any Giveaway Gifts?

While attending the DID 2026 National Conference Retreat there may be in session giveaways. You MUST be present and in attendance at any session those are distributed to receive these items. There are no exceptions to this term and condition. Items distributed during the event will not be shipped to you if you do not attend in person. These are gifts from Damsel In Defense. You may not have anyone pick up any giveaways for you.

Firearms/Pepper spray/Stun Devices

No firearms will be allowed in any DID sponsored event. Anyone found in possession of a firearm while attending a DID event will be dismissed from the event and will forfeit all monies and giveaways associated with the DID event. Attendees are responsible for knowing all state, city and county laws regarding stun devices and pepper sprays where DID events are held. DID is not responsible for any IDP who violates any state, city or county firearm, stun device or pepper spray law.

DID Liability

DID will not be held responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury of any attendee or personal property during the DID sponsored event.

Alcohol Policy

In an effort to create both safe and professional events, DID will no longer be providing or allowing alcohol into corporate sponsored activities as they deem fit. It is our goal to provide fun activities and high-level business training during our times together. Due to the sensitive nature of our business and the number of survivors that are serving alongside us, we feel that providing alcohol consumption at events aligns with our core values and sets everyone up for success at the event. To enforce this, any attendee attempting to bring alcohol into a DID sponsored event will be asked to leave the event and will forfeit re-entrance and participation in the event if there is resistance or argument. Attendees who arrive at a DID sponsored event, under the influence of drugs or excessive amounts of alcohol will be deemed unable to attend the event and will be escorted out of the event. DID reserves the right to make such determinations based on the behavior of the attendee in question. This policy will not be enforced at all inclusive resorts during incentive trips where alcohol is included in the resort or event package. However, the right to escort or dismiss someone from an event due to excessive consumption of alcohol will still be in effect at all DID events including incentive trips. DID asks that as a representative of the mission, attendee as always drink responsibly and remember that there may be survivors amongst your who struggle with addiction and or PTSD and need your sisterhood through example. DID is not responsible or liable for accidents that occur during a DID event due to the consumption of alcohol or drugs by attendee.

Photo or Video Release

I further understand that DID will record my participation in the Incentive Trip event on video and/or take still photographs. If DID makes any such recordings and/or takes any such still photographs, I grant DID an irrevocable license to use the recordings and photos (both audio and visual) of me in its marketing and promotional material at its discretion. I understand that DIDs promotional efforts may include posting pictures and/or videos on the Internet (including but not limited to posting on social media platforms), publication in print, and/or distribution through other form of media at DID’s discretion. I waive all claims to remuneration for DID’s use of such pictures, recordings, and my personal story regardless of the media used to distribute such material, the extent to which the material is distributed, and the number of times the material is viewed. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions set forth in this document you agree to the terms of this Release.

Notwithstanding the risks posed above, and those risks and injuries that are unforeseeable, I wish to participate in the Conference Event and Additional activities. Therefore, on behalf of myself, my family, my heirs, and my assigns, I waive all claims, and I forever release, DID, its management, officers, directors, owners, employees, agents, advisors, independent contractors, independent Damsel Pros and all other individuals and/or entities associated with or related to DID from any and all claims and causes of action for damages, injury, death, disfigurement, or other injury to me or my property, whether such injury is known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable, that I may sustain from participating in the Conference and Additional activities.
